Getting started

We recommend that all new users take a look at the short akkOmi movie which covers all the key points regarding the software, including:

• Installation.
• Exporting trial balance from IRIS.
• Using the application.
• Generating reports.

Note that you'll find a sample pack, which includes an example trial balance csv file, available for download at the top right of this page. So if you have installed akkOmi you can try it out straight away using the trial balance from the sample pack as an input!

Advanced users

Want something tweaked?

Every Practice is different and so you may want to have slightly different text in the leading paragraphs of the generated report. You may also have a unique chart of accounts, which doesn't quite fit with the default configuration.

These customisations can all be achieved with akkOmi but please contact us so that we can talk you through the process.

Network Configuration

akkOmi can be easily configured to run on a network, giving the additional benefit that all users in your Practice will be accessing the same report files and akkOmi configuration data.
