Why do I need another applicaton?

Accounts production applications, such as IRIS, produce high quality financial statements for your clients. These statements are exactly what's needed for filing or for financial institutions to read, but unfortunately are not always easily digested and understood by clients. In fact, in our experience most clients struggle to understand their financial statements properly, and even if they do when the accountant is present to go through them and explain, once they have left the accountant's office it all becomes hazy again...

Unfortuantely, IRIS Accounts Production - like many similar packages - do not produce more 'client freindly' reports utilising visual devices such as charts, which for many ordinary people, are the things that make sense!

How can akkOmi help?

akkOmi creates standardised, visual reports of the client's financial statements that you prepare in IRIS Accounts Production. These value added reports do not replace the financial statements, they compliment them and are primarily for your client's benefit.

How does it work?

akkOmi is a stand-alone program that you install onto your Windows PC. Simply export a multiple year trial balance from IRIS Accounts Production in a csv format (get a sample here), point akkOmi to this file and press Generate. It's that simple.

Although we currently only support IRIS Accounts Production software, if you would like us to support your accounts preparation system please contact us and we should be able to help.

What report is generated?

akkOmi creates a PDF report, in colour or grey scale, for Limited Companies analysing turnover and costs (for up to three financial periods) and presenting these in a more visual manner - using charts and tables along with explanatory text - which are typically more 'client friendly'.

You can see an example output by clicking here. Using a PDF file as the output format means that the reports are ideal for emailing or printing in a reliably formatted way.

Can't I do this myself?

Perhaps, if you have all the relevant Excel, Word, PDF-ing, Windows, Networking and other skills required..

But setting up a process where all staff can easily and consistently produce the same quality, graphical PDF report for your clients can take considerable time and effort. Why not let akkOmi do it for you?

Is it easy to use?

Yes! akkOmi was designed to do this specific task and have minimal impact on your existing processes. We think that clicking a couple of buttons is a swish way to do it. What's the cost and what do I get?

We believe akkOmi represents great value at only £24.99 (+VAT) for a single user licence. And if you require five or more licences for your practice just contact us for a special discount.

The price includes any minor updates or improvements we make to your version of the software. We also operate a fair usage policy, meaning you are welcome to install akkOmi onto your laptop as well as your desktop PC is you wish.

Produce as many reports as you want, for as many clients as you want, for as long as you want!

Do I get support?

Yes of course! But you probably wont need any...

The Getting Started page is a great place to learn how to use the software but as akkOmi is designed with simplicity in mind, minimal training is needed (and we have even developed a short movie to do just that).
